Pay to get a recipe? Really????? No thanks

Just what Id been hoping someone would develop! All the Good Food recipes in one place with one shopping list. Works just fine with all the features I wanted and some extra ones I like. The only slight niggle is that some of the extra recipes from the old apps have gone - the pumpkin pie from the Halloween update on the Cakes one for instance.

So far this is one of the best iphone cooking apps (not iphone 5 compatable yet!). Recipes are easy to follow and understand and are A+. Must have - especially sicne its free for a limiuted time. PLS UPDATE FOR IPHONE 5.

Nowhere near enough free recipes to make this useful. Eg only two vegetarian recipes! You need to pay to get more. Much easier to keep using their website.

Few recipes not very intresting

Wont even open on my iPod - just freezes and then crashes.

Seems Pretty good, but not all the recipes from the website. Downloaded from a particular recipe (lamb steaks with rosemary sweet potatoes - delicious) but not available in the app.

Finally:) after update from November 22-d, the app started to work properly on iPhone 5, iOS 7.0.4 Thank you!

Lots of recipes and useful tips and tools. Update 6th feb 2013. With todays update the app keeps crashing. Im not able to download the Valentines day cookbook either. It all worked perfectly before!

Trying to follow a recipe with ingredients like 1 olive oil or red curry paste doesnt really help. See Easy Thai Prawn Curry for example. Using iPad version

This is the best cooking app I have downloaded. The recipes are amazing and the app looks awesome on my ipad. Options to convert measurements and built in timers. What more can you ask for? Download this app!!

After the last update, none of the cookbooks are opening. Th app just forces close. Frustrating! Please fix

UPDATED: Recipe books are suddenly deleted and replaced with paid for versions that you have to download and then wont even open in the new update. Even more disappointing. ORIGINAL REVIEW: This app looks beautiful and has some nice features, like the ability to add ingredients for multiple recipes to a shopping list. However, the number of recipes is extremely limited and you seem to have to download "cookbooks" in order to expand the selection. It would be nice if this connected the great app features with the existing website, which has many, many recipes without having to select cookbooks.

Sorry guys, but the app looked promising! Stick to the website for the great recipes, here they want to empty your pocket before you can even start cooking! Taking the app off, so not worth it

Stop fooling people. Its not a free app, its just a shell for buying cookbooks. Totally useless.

There is something wrong with the app. I am using it on my iPad and I cant access the recipes. Whatever recipe I click on it brings me to the one pan breakfast recipe! I tried deleting and re-downloading the app but then I lost the cookbooks I bought and the only recipe that would come up is still the one pan breakfast :(
